Knowing the bridge was the only direct route into the district, the invaders detonated a massive explosive along NW Bridge Avenue, collapsing streets, igniting nearby buildings, and severing the Meowlitia's primary supply route. Their objective was simple: isolate the St. Johns stronghold before launching their final assault.

Standing at the northern entrance to the bridge was Jezebel, the Purr-Trooper, refusing to yield a single step. Behind her, hidden beneath the streets of St. Johns, The Meowlitia scrambled to reroute supplies through old service corridors and forgotten tunnels while civilians were evacuated deeper into the neighborhood. Every minute Jezebel held the bridge bought precious time for her fellow fighters to reinforce barricades and prepare for the inevitable push into the heart of the district.

The fighting raged from the bridge deck to the smoke-filled streets surrounding Cathedral Park. Wraith infantry advanced through the burning wreckage left by the explosion on NW Bridge Avenue, believing the destruction had broken the defenders' resolve. Instead, they found Jezebel waiting in the center of the bridge, rifle at the ready, determined that no enemy would pass into St. Johns while she still stood.
